I'd like to buy a C5 but I find the pedals to be a too close to the seat. Even with the seat and the streeing wheel all the way back I can't find a comfortable driving position. My feet just touch the firewall with the seat all the way back. Are the pedals adjustable? Are there aftermarket pedals that operate in a position closer to the firewall?

welcome, C5, to the CAC :w
How tall are you? My husband is 6'3 and doesn't have any problems in my car. (since I'm 5'5 it's not an issue for me :) )

Lowered pedals

Hi Mrs. Schroder,
I'm 6'2" with a 36" inseam. When I sit in the car with my foot on the gas pedal my right knee touches the steering wheel and I have to rest my right thigh against the center counsel. I have to lift my left leg until it hits the steering wheel to put my foot on the clutch pedal. Even with the steering wheel further back it wouldn't be a comfortable driving position for any length of time. The convertible seemed to have more leg room than the coupe. I've done some searches on this and other Corvette forums and don't see anyone else complaining about this. I was told the steering wheels were all the way back in every case. Perhaps they weren't?
