Well she finally runs, still have some more things to finish up,p/s pump and tensioner, hook up my coild air tube and then ill be ready to take it for a spin, but she fired right up no hesitation. It really sounds good with the hooker sidepipes i wasnt sure how she would sound but i like it.Feels different then the tpi motor i had,but the tpi was real torquey.

Are you using a stock tach? How did you hook it up?Ive been thinking about LS1 swaps lately but i want to keep the all the stock gauges.

i have 5 inch autometer tach and speedo in the car,i had them change the tach output in the pcm to work with the autometers.

i used my hooker sidepipes, and cut off the flanges and bought ls1 header flanges from the gm dealer and welded them on,it wasnt easy but i got it to work,2 of the pipes line up and 2 dont so i had to move 2 of them over then reweld them up.But now i have sidepipes on a ls1.

Well i took it outside yesterday just out front and it idles way to smooth for me,gone to be doing a bigger cam swap .I guess i was so used to the zz4 cam in the tuned port motor and they torquey feeling of the tpi these ls1's feel way different.
