2006 LS7 Ultima GTR
Hi Folks,

Well, I have gone and done it. Somehow, I ended up with an LS7 crate engine. It's for my Ultima GTR. Maybe you know the car? There's a link in my sig for more pictures.

So I have this beautiful engine and I am not sure what it's going to take to run it. I mean, I know what computer and harness to use. But, there are some operational questions that need answeres before I turn the key. I thought folks here might be able to help.

Oil:
What is the oil pressure at idle and at high rpm?
How many quarts of oil in the sump tank and in the lines? Or, what is the inside diameter and length of the hoses?
Here's what I know... The two hoses running to the bottom of the tank from the pan are the primary scavenge and return lines. I am guessing the white hose is the return (diagram). The system holds 8 quarts with a dry filter.
Define the two ports on the top of the tank and where the hoses run to.

Fuel:
What is the fuel flow and psi required for a stock engine at high rpm?

Coolant:
Anyone know how much is actually in the engine?

I read the information posted in the tech section about the dry-sump. Good stuff!

Thanks for any information you might have. This is going to be a long road to building this car...but well worth it!

Regards,
