LT1 question

I have read a lot about the LT4 engine and about the varying HP ranges that these motors will produce, (330-380hp) bone stock. Conversely, I have not heard much about any varience in the 300hp LT1. I was wondering if there are also some LT1's that for whatever reason had some "extra" ponies right out of the factory. Not as much as an LT4, but just a little more than the expected 300hp. What are some of the highest dyno's for an unmodded LT1?

Everything that I've seen and read here at CAC all say that the LT1 is solid and stable at 300hp (at the crank) with maybe +/- 5hp. In term of RWHP, it is aprox. -15%...ie - ~260rwhp (300 / 1.15).

LT4 was stated 330HP, but most owners stated between 295 to 305 RWHP (~340 to 350 HP...at the crank)
