I have read many times that the lt4 has no egr. If this is true, then what are the lines running out of both of my exhaust manifolds, and into the back of my intake?

That's connected to your AIR pump and is used to inject air into the exhaust during cold startups to reduce hydrocarbons and speed CAT light off.

On the back of the LT4 intake, there is a silver blockoff plate where the EGR valve goes on an LT1

Cheers,

Lawrence

Thank you for the reply. I did find this out and read about AIR in the service manual. What I'm still stumped on is why the AIR lines feed into the back of the intake. There is a block off plate where the egr would be, but the AIR line also feeds into a port on the back of the intake.
