LT4 lt4 hp differences

I was looking at a corvette performance review on the internet, and was wandering why they said that are lt4's putting out more then 330hp. Why is this?? I am thinking about buying a lt4 vette, and have never heard about this, hope that i'm not beating an old topic to death for you guys, if I am then my apologies,
