I went out on a "CORVETTE weekend drive" and it was also a test to check the performance after the coil and optic spark replacement.

Four hours of driving and I notice the Vette was using more fuel (MPG) than usual/before. Anyone can tell me why? The only part I installed different was a MSD coil I bought in Pep Boys.

Better preformance?? maybe foot gained weight?:D

I assume that you disconnected the battery when you worked on the coil. It could take some miles before the computer relearns everything and the MPG gets to where it should be.
 
Yes, I did disconnect the battery, I'll do like Jedis do...Patience
