Making the Seats Pretty

The black leather seats on my '96 could use a little shining. They are still in great shape. Problem is they've seemed to collect allot of the leather cleaner/conditioner in them over the years making them somewhat dull and therefore have lost a bit of luster. Has anyone else experienced that and what can bring back that sharp black in that leather again?

So just to clarify - saddle soap for a good cleaning and then a dose of Kiwi boot polish onto a rag then shine up and later buff away. I understand the spit shine although I was never in the military - Are you saying to mix the polish with a dab of water before applying? I get the point about buffing out afterwards. So this works, huh? Would like to get them a shiny black again so I'm open to ideas.
