Manifold removal tips needed...

i have an edelbrock performer series manifold and carb....the carb is shiny and new and im going to have the manifold bead blasted to bring back some shine....i need to know if there is any thing i need to know about the removal....i havent gone that far yet as a mechanic , but i think i can handle it...i think im gonna have the heads rebuilt also , but im on the manifold right now...any help is greatly appreaciated.....chas:beer
 
Line up the timing mark on the balancer, take the cap off of the dist. and mark the place where the rotor is on the body of the dist. When it's time for reassembly you will be able to set the timing close.
