Manifold Renewal...

as you can see in this pic , i have a new Edelbrock carb that has a nice shine to it...i want to bring back the Edelbrock manifold under it to the same luster....or at least close .

I have been told to have it bead blasted , but im still looking for other idea's...has anyone been here and done this before?

that reskinned looks real nice D....is it a coating?
i have seen them polished but im not sure if i can bring this one back to that kind of finish...price wise , would i be better off buying new and polished? or keep going this route...the manifold was on her when i got her. thanks for the info bud.

5gal of McKay Parts Dip is about $50. A local shop will charge $10-20.
Glass beading is about $30.

The reskin (I think) is an electroplating process. I've never done that yet, and I don't know the cost. I'd call the link and go from there.

Let us know what you find out.

i got quotes of $200 for new polished , $150 to powdered coat it to a brushed aluminum finish...and $50 to glass bead blast it. the guy said it will look real good when he gets it done.thanks.
