manual or electric choke carb?

it is for an 81 are they electric?? I know I need a new one but I am not sure...I do autobody and have another friend of mine do the mechanics...

It seems that you're asking if the 1981's had electric choke. ..?

Well, the original Rochester Q-Jet had electric choke. Look for a green-insulated single cable coming from the left side of the engine bay, and pasing by the bundle of wires routed behind the alternator.

It usually crosses the inlet manifold at the front of the carburator. I hope this helps.
