MAP Sensor 1982

Can anyone help please?

I am checking the map sensor code 33 and 34.

On code 33 one of the tests is to check for open

or short on Grd circuit "469"

I cannot find grd 469, can anyone help me?

I have the 1982 shop manual.

I will give you an "atta boy" if you do.

I've spent some time looking at my 82 book. You didn't specify, but I suspect you're working with pg 6E-44. DTC33 was set so you cleared codes and 33 reset. Is this correct?

If so, I'm thinking the manual is misprinted (rare but it happens) and there it says "check for open in ckt 469" should read "check for open in ckt 455".

I say that because the diagram at lower right, showing the MAP sensor has only one ground circuit numbered 455. Additionally, the 84 engine uses the same MAP, wiring and circuit numbers. In the troubleshooting for DTC33 in 84, you "check for an open in ckt 455".
