I took the entire family to Laguna Seca this weekend for the ALMS finale race of the year. Saw what was supposed to be a prototype of the ZR-1 take a few laps around the course. Most of the "secret" areas of the car were camoflauged with paint. I was kind of expecting an almost totally redone Corvette but I was disappointed in that it looks just like a regular C6 Z06. Maybe I am expecting too much of the new ZR-1. The #3 and #4 GT1 Corvette's were great as usual. My wife had never been to a road race before and she was more excited than I was. As a matter of fact, she suggested that we modify our Z06 to sound like the C6-R's. :boogie Since I took the entire family I wasn't able to drive the Z down and park in the Corvette Corral. They did have preferred parking for Toyota Camry's.....it's called "General Parking". Had a great time as always. I recommend that anyone living in CA take the time to see an ALMS race at Laguna Seca or Infineon Raceway.
