Well it's about time I feel into something other than ****! While going through my attic in preparation of getting my house ready to sell this spring I happened upon an unfamiliar box; unmarked. Since I (wisely) went through my sons toys eons ago and bagged up every Star Trek, Star Wars, Transformers, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, ...etc stuff I thought........... Hmmmm, might be "the" box. Well, sure enough it was. After emptying the contents all over the floor; much to my surprise what do I find? Micro Machines. These were tiny (about 1/3 size of a Matchbox/Hot Wheel car). And amazingly.......... 17 Corvettes!!!! They varied from 1953, 57, 63, 67, 74, 78, and some indistinguishable C4's!! What a treat for me. Needless to say, they are now happily sitting in my Collectibles Hutch (actually a rescued glass door china closet). And a couple Hot Wheels Vette's too all in nearly MINT condition.
Now with that kind of luck how could I have possibly missed the $314 million dollar Power Ball Game last month?
But at least I have 19 more toy Vette's in my collection. I'll post a pic when I get the chance.
