Mirror cable

I need to replace the cable that moves the driver side mirror. Are they still available anywhere or should I just take them off and put the chrome ones on?

I don't believe the mirror cable were ever available,You had to buy the whole mirror!! But I have repaired them depends on how bad and what was causing the problem!!
