Mobil one oil

I was in a walmart tonight and all the way up on the top shelf was 5 quart jugs of mobil one synthetic oil 5/30 for only 18.88
I just did an oil change in the fall on the car and had paid close to 6 dollars a quart.

anybody else getting oil from wallmart?
What are you folks paying?

I don't have access to US Walmart...

But I still pay $4.50 a quart for the oil. A liter of oil on the German economy costs about $10 with the exchange rate! YIKES!!

The dealer I have do my oil changes lets me supply the oil, he supplies the labor and the filter and disposes of the used oil. About $40 for the oil change. If he supplies the oil, the job costs about $80!

Sometimes you can find car parts stores putting Mobil1 on sale to bring in traffic for their other products. You just have to be on the look-out and if the opportunity presents itself, buy!

Mobil One

Here in the Detroit, MI area, the COSTCO Stores sell 6 quart packs, for under $25.00, come to about $4.15 a quart. I use Royal Purple in mine, just to be safe. And Purple Kool in in Radiator.

Why would price be a consideration on a Vette? You've got the best , treat it that way, give it the best you can afford.
Personally, I use only AMSOIL. It is pure synthetic, and tests better than any of the rest. Expensive? Yep... and so is a Corvette! And both are American made!

Yep that's where I buy my oil. It's the best price I've found.

I agree with C_Dogg. Nothing but AMSOIL for me! It is proven to be the best and I prefer to purchase products made in the USA!
