Muffler replacement

Hello everyone
I hope someone has run into this and can give me the answer
My right muffler broke the weld at the h pipe and fell off on the freeway the other day, I picked up a low milage set of Zo6 mufflers to replace them with.
I got my car up on ramps (in the back) and removed the sway bar as per manual
removed the hangers and still cannot get the muffler out. I even jacked it up a little but It seems I need more clearance to swing the mufflers down to clear the axle shafts, before I put everything back together and take it to my shop I wanted to know if this is correct or am I missing something easy

You've got to get your car in the air something like 36" to get them out without cutting them.

To make the job easier you need to put it on a hoist to get the clearance you will need.
