...and i was wondering if i can jack up the rear of the C5 high enough to just remove the mufflers? The car sounds like a dragster haha. Not sure why, but where the intermediate pipes screw into the mufflers, after the flange on the muffer side is where they separated-both of them. So as some of you know, i will be doing a headers-back system now, probably this one: http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=1.36.4247 with borla stingers for mufflers. But i just want to remove the old stock mufflers for now since the only thing holding them in place is the muffler hanger under the rear bumper cover.

Bumpy....

According to the instructions that Corsa provides for their systems, you need the car 36" off of the ground to get the mufflers off of the car with the over-axle pipes in one piece.

Good luck!

DIdnt work....looks like i have to cut them. I jacked the car up as far as it could go in the rear.....
