My 2003 coupe fuel guage is on the fritz!

Well, with only 500 miles on it, my fuel guage is acting up. It went from 3/4 to just above 1/4 in less than five minutes. It stayed on 3/4 for a LOOONG time. I thought I was getting outstanding mileage. Was this problem supposed to be corrected in the 2003 models? Any TSB on 2003 about this?

Hi there,
None that I am aware of, do you have any codes in the PCM?????
Just remember, the fuel tanks are different designs then that of the 02 and earlier.
I would need your VIN for further assistance.

I was unaware the 2003's had a different fuel tank design. Is it a better design? Thanks again for your efforts.
