I picked it up this weekend down in Tampa.38,000 org miles. The car is perfect.Everything works. Nice and tight.Got the cars medical records back to the org owner.I'm the third. The seller also gave me an auto art model of the car. Also the window sticker in a frame suitable for hanging.LOL!!Also got a Wieand alum crossfire intake that he never installed. The car has some type of preformance chip.True dual exhaust(21/2" stainless)Raven mufflers ?JVC 200w stereo.Tans. has a shift kit.The car could go right in a car show. It's beautiful.I spent about 6 mos. doing my homework and looking until I found the right one.The deal went down great.

got to see pics.... congratulations... those CE's look like they're comfortable with the plush interiors.

zgator - congratulations! Sounds like you definitely get an A on your homework. Savannah huh? I'm up in Beaufort, SC. We'll have to get together for lunch sometime when I get home - maybe meet in Hilton Head some sunny afternoon.

Semper Fidelis,
Culprit

Sure culprit, let me know when you are around.I've got a nice digital camera I just have to figure out how to post pics.I don't undertsand the language of computers.I need to know the waving procedure.I know I'm susposed to wave at other C3's but what about c4's and up?I've got a 71 Z/28 and all the first and second gens wave at each other but not the 3rd or 4th.

Regarding the wave...I wave to all Vette owners. The Vette has / is and will be a special breed, no matter what era it is manufactured...just my take on the wave.

Congrats!!!

Sounds mint, work on getting some pictures posted. As for the wave, it is MANDATORY! Although "some" vettes won't wave back, it has nothing to do with generation, a vette is a vette is a vette, PERIOD!!!;)

lunch!!??

culprit/zgator,
I live in Atlanta- may I suggest a meet in the middle and we'll all have lunch/dinner, tell corvette stories, punch each other in the arm kind of stuff--- what say you?

Getting to be really nice corvette weather this time of year so think bout it...I can't take any long trips as I have a 4 month old but would be glad to throw a BBQ at the house here in Marietta if you're willing?

This is open to all you local friends too or anyone who can make it...

PM me if you'd like...

Sully...

cesully and zgator - go ahead and don't wait up for me - but drop me a line in January when I'm home from Iraq and I'll be game!

PS - I wave to all the Vettes and any other cool/classic car I happen to pass. I even got a return wave from a guy in a 1970's Lotus once. At the next red light, he rolled down the window and told me I had a nice car. Coming from a classic Lotus, that meant a LOT. Car guys are all the same - wave on!

Semper Fidelis,
Culprit

I understand if you don't want to say but how much did you have to give for it? I always like to compare my deal on my 75.

Andy

ZGator.. cograts on the CE. you'll get the wave thing down pat quickly.
ahhh Savannah, our second home. that's where we go to get away from the tourist crowd.Crab dinners on Tybee island. Cruising along Abercorn late in the evening . watching the sun set on the Tivoli River.....breakfast at the Hamilton-Turner house.......i think i am misting ...

Well I'll tell ya what I paid for it.16,000.Over the past 6 mos. I have been pricing them and i've seen a few that had more mileage and were priced in the low 20's so I figure it was a fair deal when you factor in the changes he made to it.

congrats on the 'new' vette, love the c-3s myself as long as your satisfied with the deal you made...thats all that matters!!!!!
