He bought it from his son because his son got tired of it. He gets that way and makes just enough cash to fuel his short attention span. So, any usual problems associated with this year so I have an advanced warning? I took the car out for a spin around the parking lot. Everything seemed tip-top to me. Well mechanically speaking anyways. Of course it has the usual gm quality interior but hey, what can you do. So far hes happy with it. It'll mostly sit under a car cover in his driveway and only get maybe 120 miles a month or so. I believe it has 60k on it now. Cash-wise, its a steal. His son payed more than the minimum every month and was the first owner. Now my co-worker only has to pay 311 USD month for 39 months. Can't beat that for a 95 model can you? The paint is in great condition. The guy took above-average care of it. So like I said, what tends to wear out quickest on this year? Any ideas? Thanks

In '95 GM switched to a vented opti. The old ones were sealed well enough that if moisture got in it couldn't get out and you ran into problems. With the vented opti moisture could escape and you typically won't have the same level of problems. Now that doesn't mean that if it needs to be replaced that it wont' be expensive. ;)

With a few more miles, the exhaust manifolds seem to crack, usually on the passenger side. I've replaced an O2 sensor and have fixed oil leaks in the intake manifold and oil pan. My car has ~96k miles on it. What a fun car though.

1. Opti-Spark
2. Water Pump
3. Intake Manifold Leak - rear
4. Nothing else I can think of

5. Oil Pressure Sensor (leaks oil and sometimes looks like intake manifold rear leak)
