I was not happy with the old 7/8th sway bar so I ordered a Speedway 1 ¼ hollow bar. While it is hollow it is supposedly 20% stiffer then a stock 1 ¼ bar.

This is the overall kit consisting of a 37 ½ inch bar, 2 splined arms that will be going on a massive diet, two pillow blocks that have no give whatever and 2 collars to lock the bar in place.. Total cost was $393 CDN.

You can see from this picture that the bar is hollow and splined on the end, the arm again is massive and is the process of loosing major weight. It is internally splined.

This is the pillow block, It is a bearing with a bronze sleeve and a couple of oil grooves and a grease fitting

Two type front bars run on regional asphalt circle track cars-trucks ... one is very popular "yankee bar" that looks more or less like a typical bent sway bar but runs through two large Height-Adjustable eye bolts ... the other looks like a lot like yours with the exception that the splined torsion bar runs inside a frame tube that traverses the frame horns. Only guessing, but either type might make for a rough street ride.
