I notice now when i am in park or taking a corner in town that when i turn my steering wheel left or right that it makes like a grinding like low mumble sound? is that to do with my assisted steering or what? i have a 1981 corvette. and if it has something to do with that where do i put fluid in for that i can see a spot for it? i see where my steering column goes to but idk.... WHAT DO I DOOOO?

If memory serves, the owner's manual has a blurb about topping up the PS fluid. The generic tune up guides (Chilton/Hayne's) cover it.

I replaced my entire PW steering system. The power steering pump cap is in an awkward spot and difficult to access. I ended up having to loosen the alternator and moving it out the way to remove the cap.

If my alignment is off just a little a tire will rub a bit on the inside edge of the fender well on a hard right. It sounds like a low mumbling sound. Other than that the power steering just hoots like an owl.
