Ok, I've seen lots of Vettes either in person or just in pictures, but when it comes to what has to be the most thought-out, clean looking custom bodywork, intimidating, and just plain mean and tough STREET Vette, my vote has to go to.....................

Face it, if you were sitting at a red light and this car rumbled up next to you, would you want to give it a shot, or just tuck your tail between your legs and slowly turn away down the closest side street. ;LOL

Barry,

I have to agree with you about the cool factor of 67Heaven's car and the fact it is one mean street car. However, I would not slink down a side street.......even though I know I will lose in a stop light Grand Prix, I always like to know by how much. Besides how cool is it to launch two vettes off from the light:D

Take care,
Brian

The frightening part is... the pictures don't do 67Heaven justice... It's even better in person!!

I Absolutely agree, it is one to admire and envy. It is the definition of "Street Machine".
Another is Chris's, 69myway, Killer.

Brian

When I mentioned slinking down a side street, I meant for people that were foolish enough to really think they may have a chance of taking Heaven in a race :)

Yes, if you or I were to try to go against Heaven we KNOW we would lose but as you say, how cool is it to see 2 Vettes take off at once.

I can only imagine! Seeing Heaven this year in Carlisle is going to be a real treat. As far as i'm concerned, Heaven and some of the other project cars in here are a large reason I'm looking forward to Carlisle this year in particular - not to mention getting to meet some of you guys i've been talking to for over a year now on here.
Last year I got to meet Rich L and Dennis (ZRGator), now it's time to meet a lot more. :)

I don't know Chris's car, but I do love the early chrome bumper C3's so I'm sure his car is beautiful. matter of fact, my car search originally started out by looking for an early C3 (69-72). I ended up with my '65 and never once regreted my change of plans, but one day I do want to add an early C3 to keep my C2 company.........along with a C1, C4 (my wife likes the C4's best).......etc
;LOL
H*ll, if I had the money, I'd have at least one of each generation! :)

Okay, this is starting to get embarrassing. ;)

Comes with the territory Dude. Like it or not, after you show it a few times at Cruisefest and Carlisle, you and Heaven will be a legend. Just be like Rich and Barbara, don't let it make your head swell and forget where you came from;)

Ken, thanks for the pics of Chris's car.

Maxrevs, thanks for the link to his website. The links wrong but I found it on Google. Killer is a beautiful car!

Nice pair here........C2 and C3, Red and Black, both great looking cars!

Like y'all, I love 'em both. I just wish there was a free-breathing pair of sidepipes for the C-4.

I loved the Hooker sides on my crate-LS6ed, '71.
:w

I've rode in Killer so now I have to ride in 67 Heaven. Can't wait for BG and CruiseFest.

I also look foward to seeing the car in person.I have followed this build for quite some time know.I actually came over from another forum a while ago just to stay in touch with 67heaven.

You know its hard to describe but when I first heard the video of it when he had his first fire,my heart was actually racing as if I had a part of the cars build. I think that the car looks "sinister"

You rode in Obsession too, Tom. When are we gonna get a chance to ride in one of yours. Hell, I'd settle for a ride in the truck! (the hot rod truck, that is ;)) :L

Yes I did :D :D :D As for the rest of your comment.
I...a...well.....er......umm....I plan to get to it again after I get my Dad's estate settled and after Cruisefest. Yea...that's it.

Seriously I have a goal of having the truck moving on it's own before fall. Then I can hammer tin all winter.

I may also fire up the '59 just to see if it will this summer. That could have some major effect on my plans for it next summer. How about suede paint, chromies, old interior and lowered a little? :_rock
