Those that have installed the Myers IFS on their C1's, I have a few questions for you......

1. What year car did you install it in?

2. Was your motor in or out when you did it?

3. what was the most challenging aspect of taking out the old pieces?

4. what was the most challenging aspect of putting in the new pieces?

5. did you add power steering and if so, what went right and what went wrong?

6. what steering column did you use? did the new steering column give you more room in the car to drive (in other words was the steering wheel now closer to the dash)?

7. where did you move the VIN tag to and how did you attach it?

8. did you have to weld any of the pieces on to the frame/other place and if so what was it and wasn't bolt on an option?

9. since Myers doesn't offer a place to bolt the front license plate brackets, what did you do to mount the brackets?

10. there are some parts that are either chrome or polished that Myer's offers, when you look down into the engine compartment of the parts that they offer which ones would make the most sense to upgrade to and which ones would not really make much of a difference?

11. anyone upgrade to the bigger Wilwood brakes and do you think the upgrade costs are worth the money?

12. other comments you might have??

13. are you planning on using the over the top motor mount or are you planning on adding lower side mounts, if so where did you get them from, how did you attach them and how did you know where to put them so that you can use the same drive shaft you had to begin with?

please post as many pictures as you can or send to me at htmiata99@aol.com as I would like to see what is required.

At one point I was thinking I would go this route (I have a '60)....then I thought about going the SRIII tube frame route, then I thought I would leave it alone....now I am back to thinking that Myers would be the best option for me....particularly since the more I think about it...power steering would be a good thing......

so......please answer the questions and share your experience.....
