Ahhh, the mysteries just keep on comin'.
Pictured below is a light bulb I found under the rear bumper of my '88 while reinstalling the spare tire carrier. Yes, the bulb was in a socket which attaches to the inside of the bumper cover. It looks like it's supposed to light up the spare tire carrier when the lights are on.
The question is, what kind of bulb is it? I can't find it anywhere. Even Candella Corp. drew a blank on it.
Here are its dimensions:
- It's 6/8" in total length, and about 5/16" in diameter at the top.
- The base is a blade-type, 3/16" long (not including the center knob) and 3/16" wide.
- I don't know the type of filament because it's totally cooked in the inside.
And if it's NOT a bulb at all, then what it the world is it???
