Jeff Gordon ,Jr and JJ will be drivin' KIAs next year .Tony has an agreement with Mini Cooper. The bright spot is Kyle Petty will team up with subaru. The rest of NASCAR teams are TBD .(this might not be a joke)

Let's just push all the buttons and end the madness. :rotfl

Let the aliens sweep up.

In the future ( maybe not too distance future ), a racer will just buy a cookie cutter car from NASCAR with a spec V-8 engine designed by NASCAR and put sponsor stickers from whatever car company that interested and go racing. Wonderboy in a Kia, JJ in a Tata, Jr. in a Trabant, Smoke in a Mini, and the list goes on.

Heck for years they've been racing cars that don't exist! I mean really, can you go to a Chevy dealer today and buy a 2 door slab sided rear wheel drive V8 for the street?

2012 headline story

In an unfortunate post race accident, Carl Edwards seriously injured his neck after landing on his head while attempting a celebratory backflip after winning a race. Apparently the Schwinn that he won the race with just wasn't a steady enough platform to do his signature move off of and tumbled out from under him as he attempted the stunt. In other news concerning the race, other nascar teams are crying foul over the win saying you can't claim a gas mileage victory on a vehicle that uses no gas at all. His only pit stop during the race was during a caution when nascar spotted a fluid leaking onto the track from his vehicle. The leaking apparently stopped and the only comment from his co-crew chiefs Lance Armstrong and Lisa Nowak about the incident were that if their current pampering sponsor couldn't come up with a better piece of equipment that they would have to return to a different one they were confident they could depend on.

way to many rules in nascar for me . no room for creativeness . its lost all its fun ,and i dont even watch it anymore. jmho

Most of the creativeness shows up at daytona and gets caught, then it's just a few more odd things here and there through the year.

I do find that I'm very neutral now in regards to manufacturer badging on a car.

i couldnt agree more, i never missed a race in the past, went to dover pocono and watkins glen and loved it, really lost interest when they changed the points system, i just dont like it. really doesnt bother me that toyotas are out there at all.
passed up on pocono and dover this year and havent been to the glen in years.. the one track i really do want to visit is bristol.... had an offer to stay at a guys house i knew, then he went and got arrested for murder:ugh dont think i want to bunk up with him right now
