Need a little help

I realize that this has been talked about many times, so I will be brief. I have an LT4, 24k miles. No problems. Great car. I read the thread showing the VIN range of cars that had the rocker arm recall and it seems my car falls in the range. When was the recall announced and how would I know if my car had the work done??? Also, what would my course of action be if it had not been done???

I would think taking it to a dealer you can trust to work on it would be the way to go. They can look up the service records for the vin number.

GM Service Report

I contacted a friend who runs the service department for a family owned GM Dealership and ask him to run a service report on my LT4. He printed and sent me the service report. It showed all work that had been performed on my LT4 at GM dealerships.
