need advice on a purchase

Looking at an 07 (Ron Fellows) Z. It has 1000 miles on it. Guy wants 54k whichh I think is a little high. What I am really concerned about is there has been no maintanence on the car. Zero. Never changed the oil in 3 years. Am I nuts to look at this car? I don't think a RF commemorative _is ever going to be worth more than a non commemorative. O7 so is it worth paying the premium. I do like the look of the car. Thanks. Johnm

Sounds like a good price, but I not sure that 1,000 miles in 3 years is a good thing, systems wise.

I may be prejudiced, but I think the RFE will be a collectors item in the future - it's matter of when. Looking ahead at GM's plans for the Vette, the C6 Z06 may be the last of the muscle car Vettes, and the limited editions will bring a premium.

Besides, they're cool, which is really what it's about.

The Ron Fellows ZO6 will most definitely be a collectable. Look at the production numbers! 300 for US sale!! $54k is very reasonable. Buy it now, or I'll be buying it for Corvette Mike's!

With all the special edition cars they are putting out the only cars that will brin extra $$$ in 20 or 30 years are the cars that are not driven. If you like it buy it you only live once.
