need advice

I have a 94 coupe. Under the hood on the drivers side, the whole for the holding pin has no thread left to it so I keep loosing the pin and the hood shakes a little. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Drill out the (w)hole and insert a helicoil in the correct size. This will give you back your original thread and therefore will solve your problem.

However I am really curious how you lost your thread in the first place.
