need help on value for an '86 and '88

Normally I prowl around the C1 and C2 forums, but I need some help. My fiances family has an uncle that recently passed away and he had set aside 4 vettes into shipping containers (he owned a trucking business). One C2, one C3 and two C4's. The C4's were an '86 and an '88. I know that one of the cars only has 1800 miles on it as it was purchased new from a dealer that had used the car as his demo. When he bought it he trailered it home and put it straight into the container.

I am not sure what to look for in terms of options to assist in determining a value. The family doesn't know anything about cars, so I need to take a look at them and offer up an opinion on what they might be worth......so if anyone has come comments on what I need to look for as well as an idea of worth, I would appreciate it.

My first question would have to be ere they just parked or stored correctly ie: desiccant bags for interior, fuel treatment what shape are the tires in etc. That's the only way to get a true value because if they were just "parked n locked" it could get expensive making them roadworthy.

How far are you from Napoleon, OH? Team Corvette might be able to value them for you and might even be willing to purchase them (at wholesale price, of course).

he didn't will them to anyone?? or the family needs the money. sad, dosen't sound like he even enjoyed them. i am sure Team corvette will want to buy them, but there not going to give you the best price, there like any car dealer ship that needs to make a profit too. do they all have extremely low mileage like 1800 in the C4?? wow! a new 20 year old vette!! whats master card say- priceless.....
