I am about to start re-assembly on my 66.

The frame is due by the middle of next week:D.
What i need to know is how to bend the tabs on the Sombreros so that they are tight.
What i am thinking on doing is useing a V-chisel in my air hammer to bend them over??

Any suggestions.

thanks in advance

Jack,

You don't need nothing but a good, heavy, hammer. :bang

Exactly - just wail on them 'til they're down flat; they aren't under any stress anyway once the suspension is installed. The September issue of "Corvette Enthusiast" magazine (out in a week or two) has a step-by-step tech article by yours truly (with lots of photos) on replacing sombrero bushings. :)
