Need Idle help

My 92 automatic has begun idling poorly. There is quite a miss, and it dosent seem as smooth at higher speed as it did. The car had 100,000 miles on it and I am thinking the opty is going.

I attached a timming light to see if the " flashes " were rythmic or not. What I found was all 4 passenger plugs fired very rythmicly, but the drivers side all had an extra flash, not rytmic at all. Does anyone know if this is a symptom of the opti, or could it be a bad cap and rotor.

Any comments would be helpful

no cap and rotor on an opti,
when was the last time you changed the plug wires?
It sounds like an opti, if you are going to replace the opti then you might as well change the wires too if they haven't been changed in a while.

Tune-up, otherwise its an Opti

of course if you replace the Opti, you should replace the WP at the same time
