The was no space for the factory cats in between the longtube headers and the Corsa exhaust, so they were left off.

Just to keep it "legal", I hear there is a place that specializes in small, low restriction cats just for this sort of application. Any one know the name of this place or better yet, the URL?

www.tpis.com has free flow cats for around 260 or so last i looked. they come in a few different sizes just in case you want to go with larger exhaust :D

here ya go....

Catalytic Converters - Super High Flow

There's no need to sacrifice gobs of horsepower to meet emissions requirements. All you need is a properly tuned and maintained engine and Super High Flow catalytic converters featuring 3" diameter inlets and outlets. TPIS SHF converters meet EPA and California ARB requirements. They can be added to vehicles that were not originally equipped with a catalytic converter, or installed as replacements when required on late model emissions controlled cars and pickup trucks. Special flow-enhancing construction minimizes mechanical restriction for maximum horsepower. Dyno testing has shown less than a 3 HP loss when TPIS SHF catalytic converters were installed on an open exhaust system. Custom-size inlets and outlets are available on request.

Note: Under Federal EPA regulations, replacement of original equipment catalytic converters is allowed only if the original converter(s) is missing, or the vehicle has more than 50,000 miles or is at least five years old and the need for a replacement has been established and documented or a local inspection program has determined the existing converter is in need of replacement.

Thanks Mad Mic, that's what I am looking for. The headers came from TPIS.....odd that they didn't suggest the SHF cats, as they knew the old cats wouldn't fit with the Corsa exhaust.

I'll give em a call, in the morning.
