Need part # for 63 water pump

I had asked this a while back and someone gave me a part # of 3859326.There is one on ebay but he claims it is for 340 hp.Is this correct or were they all the same?

'63 Corvette 250hp and 300hp engines (no bypass fitting) used casting #3782608 (also used through 1970 on all base engines). 340hp and 360hp 63's (bypass fitting on top of the pump) used casting #3859326 initially, then changed to casting #3782609 in January, 1963. Some 340/360hp cars later in the year also had casting #3839175 (randomly mixed with #3782609).

Thanks John,found one and its on the way.Customer said he wasnt concerned with the # matching but didnt like the big plug on the top of the aftermarket one that I installed so I decided to get the correct one,thanks again.

my July 11 build date Z06 had a 326 pump on it when I bought it - have to assume it was original and that is what I put on during restoration

Yup, there's not a consensus on this one at this point; Flint V-8 Engine Plant records show the 2609 pump in production in January, but numerous known-original cars built after that date have the 326 pump. Apparently both were used on a random basis.
