I'm hooking everything back in the car and have a slight problem. The manifold I'm using, an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap, does not accept the orignal throttle linkage plate. With some mods I think it will work and pretty much have it aligned where I "think" it needs to go.

Can anyone do me a huge favor and take some close ups of a carb with the linkages attached, both gas and WOT so I can see the angles of the connections, ( if you can include the plate, that would help) I think I'm close but want to to make sure before i fire this up.

Thanks.

Dude so close...:_rock.....I have a different bracket than that and it holds the Vacuum for the cruise. I removed the vacuum ( obviously) and now have a bare bracket. The whole on top of the bracket holds the accelerator cable and the whole on the bottom of the bracket holds the WOT cable to the tranny, i"ve modified it to fit the intake but the angle of the cables looks strange.

They are angled up at about 30 degrees rather than straight at the hook point on the carb. Yours shows the cable going straight to the connection point on the carb.............I'm wondering how critical that is? I don't want to stick the throttle wide FO on a new motor :eek

I'm also lost as to where the WOT cable connects?
