I HAVE A 97 WITH STOCK GEARS. WHAT ARE THE GEARS I WOULD HAVE AND IF THEY ARE CHANGED WHAT WOULD IT DO TO MY GAS MILEAGE. I GET GOOD MPG NOW. HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE REV LIMITER?

HI there,
Are you automatic or 6 speed????
If you are 6 speed, you have 3.42.
If you are automatic, with the normal axle, you have 2.73.
If you have the optional, G92 rear axle ratio is a 3.15.
You can look at your service parts identification label, on your rear compartment cover, for your G axle code, and then you will know your axle ratio.
Your rev limiter is there for a reason, and cannot be programmed out. Your power curve is within these parameters, and it would not benefit you to rev the engine higher.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb
