I ran a new best E.T and MPH at the Corvette Challenge race on Saturday. Even though I got eliminated in the 3rd round it was still a great time. Bob installed my Scorpion 1.6 Roller Rockers, and we dropped rear tire pressure a little more trying to get better 60' times.

my best run was a 12.566 @ 112.8 mph with a 2.007 60'. These times are 7/100ths better E.T. and 1.5 mph better.

The car goes down for a couple of weeks for the head/cam job and a full dyno tune before the next Corvette Challenge on June 24th. We should be well into the 11's the next time out

Wow

It sounds like you had a good result with your work on the RR's. Just out of curiosity I noted you are going to replace your OPTI with an MSD Opti. The question is this what are you going to do with the old opti? Would it fit a 93? You may have been following my post on my car not starting and what we think is wrong with it. In the event the ECM is not the problem I may be looking for an Opti. Would you consider selling your old one? :beer

actually i'm replacing the whole unit with the new MSD Billet Opti, not just the cap and rotor anymore. The 96 opti has a vent and the 93 doesn't. I'm not sure if they are interchangeable or not but i'm sure Bob at www.advancedautocc.com will be able to answer your question. He is the individual who is doing the work.
