Who has successfully hooked up the midyear stock tach to a modern aftermarket distributor?

I doubt I'll be using the TI system that came with my L-71 after the rebuild project is complete.

What are you using to get "performance" while maintaining the tach drive cable?

'67, try Summit Racing Equipment @ 1-800-230-3030. They have a order and tech line 24/7. I needed some help selecting a Centerforce clutch for my '67 and they had all the answers and got me the clutch for cheep! That's why they are the biggest aftermarket high performance business on the planet. :bu

67 I priced a Mallory Tach drive 339.00 at my local speed shop. I think Mallory is the only company making a new Tach drive distributor.. Dave. oh and forgot to add no stinkin points and if I remember correctly no amp either to get the big spark...

Let me try again I just checked my notes not a Mallory a MSD dist. Dave.

I am running a MSD system (been flawless since installed) tach drive distributor, mds box with rev limiter, and msd coil,I purchased it all from jeggs.I made up a set of wires that look simular to original and have the box hidden behind my battery and the distributor fits niceley under the sheilding.
