New Distributor neeeeeeded!

Hey everyone,

Great website and forum you guys have here! I've been reading your posts for a while, and thought I'd take the plunge and start spending countless hours on this website too now You guys should also check out www.c3vr.com, it's been around for a little bit, but it's got a great group of people there too. Anyway, now to the real question...

My accel bei distrib quit on me. YAAY! I've got an MSD 6a box, and now I can get a distributor with a vacuum advance and tach drive! But I just need to know which one I should invest in? Any options? I don't have the original distributor for this car, which, btw, is a 74 convt with a 350 in it.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

MSD distributor pn 8572 has both tach drive & vac advance and must be used with an MSD (or crane or mallory) box ... such as the 6A. New 8572 about $275 - $300.

I have a good used Accel pn 34100A hi-po points distributor that has both td & va ... it'll also work with (or without) a 6A box. Available at $65.
