Any experiences out there on the new frames available from Paragon or Corvette Central. They are close (12 hrs) enough for me to drive to and deal with the border hassles myself.

YAMAFAN,

What kind of frame are we talking about?

Bill

The complete frame under the car from front to rear. Mine is totally rusted out. I have the body off and am ready to transfer the parts to a new frame.

your kidding they sell the whole frame, I have to look at those catalogs again!!

Anybody??

Paragon Corvette Frame 3560 catalog says all fuel lines included but sales desk the fuel lines are not included.

Corvette central Frame 3295 no fuel lines

Vette Products of Michigan 3281 no fuel lines.

I had a post on another site that says GM in the US can still provide them for 3199.

All prices in US$ Frame # 12300910

I phoned several canadian dealers but the frames are not available in Canada. Am trying to find a GM dealer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan preferably Sault ste marie that I can order this from to save me a long drive.

GM in canada did say they could provide the radiator support for 699. Can$.

All parts for a 74 L48 automatic.

Try some of the wrecking yards. Some nice cars get torched and end up there for parts. I was lucky enough to find a nice clean frame for my 72 at one, reasonably priced. Mine is from a 79 but with minor modifications to the rear bumper mounts it should fit.

Thanks for the tip but the nearest wrecking yard is about 450 km away. I've trying phoning but the phone bills almost cost the price of a frame. I've gotten a lead through this post but if there are any more out there in Ontario I'd like to hear about them.

When I built my car the frame on the 77 was toast as well ( funny thing it came from ontario too.) but I found the 76 in the next town and picked it up for 900 bucks.
one thing that I would check if I were you is the windshield frame, just take off the header part off and have a good look. On mine the only thing holding it togeather was the windshield it's self.
Hope this helps
Aaron

Corvette Frames

Try these guys also. http://www.corvetteusa.com. They build Frames for 63 - 82 Corvettes. Ask for Mike. I've seen some of his work, very nice. He also builds them for shops around the country. I don't remember what he wanted for just the frame, but I saw a full rolling Chassis he was finishing that ran for 9k. And it had everything, just drop in a motor/trans and bolt up the body.
