Hey Everyone, I just registered here and hope to join in once in awhile. Maybe I can learn something even though it's pretty hard to teach an old dog new tricks. But I will be watching to see if I can learn. I've got three hobby cars that I show and they keep me pretty busy. Seems like I'm always repairing or updating something. But it's just time and money.

Hi Rich and welcome to the :CAC! Always nice to get new solid axle members here!

I checked out your page and you have three absolutely beautiful silver Chevys. That SS396 is especially nice:D! I've always loved silver/grey cars and currenly have two and have owned one other as well even though my Vette is white.

welcome to :CAC
wow 3 very beautiful cars, lucky you
i'd like to see them sometime if its possible

Welcome Richard

Great collection of silver cars you have there. I have always been drawn to silver and I don't think there is a better color for a '57 Bel Air. What kind of silver street rod are you thinking about?

Tom

Thanks

Thanks everyone, for making me feel at home. I keep up with a couple of other forums and it is good to find another great forum out there where I can meet new people and get some different view points and fresh ideas. If I'm lucky I might even learn something. And Tom, thanks for asking. I think I have settled on getting a '37 Ford Coupe one of these days. I really like about all brands of cars from about '36 to '39. And of course the '41 Willy's. It would be a shame to cross borders, but I really like '37 Fords (with a sbc for power).

Sounds like a good plan. My 1st car was a '39 Ford Deluxe 2 door with a '55 265 Chevy. That was......well, a couple years ago.
