New Member and New Owner in Cleveland

Hey everybody...glad to join now that I finally have my first 'vette. I'm 29 years old from the Cleveland area and am going to attempt to self-learn everything about maintaining and modding my "vette, as I have very limited experience with cars besides a passion for muscle cars and Corvettes. I recently bought a '76 with a great frame, numbers matching, and brand new paint job. Now all I have to do is wait until May for the snow to stop falling. I look forward to chatting with you all as I start on my first project, a new radio (the original's shot).

Congratulations on the car and welcome to CAC!!!
I'm sure you'll find tips and advice for just about every project you can think of.

I highly suggest getting a copy of the original 1976 service manual. It really helps. Also, the Assembly and Instruction Manual (AIM) is very useful when you can't remember how to put things back together.

You should be able to get the C3 AIM at the National Corvette Restorer's Society website - NCRS C3 Library

Bill, I doubt they have a C5 version yet, but check anyway.
