Hello everyone, I've gotten back to Vettes after 15 years of living in the dark with out a Vette(raising kids, etc). I have owned 4 C3s (71 t-top,69 t-top,69 vert, and now 76 t-top). I was a body man in the early 80s and I am a Tool and Die Maker now, so I have always done all my own work on my cars. My current C3 (76) I restored the interior, replaced the front and rear bumperswith fiberglass/truflex ones. And now I am installing an LS1 out of a 2002 Vette in it. Hopfully all the performance and reliability of a new one with the style of the C3. Looking forward to picking your brains about all the things I have forgotten about or never knew about the C3s. I am also an Artist specializing in Motorcycle and Automotive artwork. Check out my website at Fine Airbrush By Delbert> By the way when I bought my first Vette C3s where called Late models and C2s were called Mid-years.

Welcome to the :CAC !!

Your merging of style, performance and reliability sounds like it will make for a fantastic Vette! Looking forward to seeing photos of it!

Our paths may have crossed ;) IF you attended many NCCC events back in the early 80's or made the Black Hill Corvette Classic :dance

I am/was a "Charter Member" of the Cross Roads Corvette Club out of York, Nebraska and did a LOT of autocross/shows and rally's back in the early 80's

Showed a Yellow 1967 Vert, raced a 1974 for a while then an 80 then 84 before picking up anchor moving out west.

The CornHusker Club out of Omaha was real active in NCCC and held a huge event each year in September with autocross at the Lincoln Airport.. ah for the memories :thumb

Welcome aboard, enjoy the :Steer
