Hey guys,gals I am Rick. I grew up reading Vette Mags, painting, drawing Corvettes.
I remember when in Junior High and High School, I would just stare at a C4 and say, "one day"
Well last year, the idea occured that I would buy one.
I drove and saw many Corvettes.
My goal was to get a clean body, clean chassis, and care less if motor is shot.
I came across a kid, and we finally struck a deal. Within hours, I returned, gave him cash, obtained title and the car was towed same night.
I replaced battery,fuel pump and water pump. The car fired up. Okay, great.
next I began to focus on building it up.
Starting from Suspension. in my list, I did all new bushings, Bilstein shocsk, new wheel/hub bearings,sand blasted the knuckles, strut rods and control arms. New BAER decelarotors up front and Brake Planets drilled slooted rotors in rear.
I can go on and on, but I dont want tthe thread to be boring.
