Just purchased a Red 1979 Corvette with a 4 speed transmission. The drive train has been recently rebuilt and the original L48 motor was replaced with a new ZZ4 crate motor. I've only been able to drive it a couple of times because the weather has been lousy here. The car still needs some work so I know I'm going to need a lot of advice in the next few months.

I'm glad I found this site.

Thank you for the warm welcome

I do have my first question to ask.

The headlight components have all been replaced from what I see with the exceptionof the headlight switch and the little plastic by pass valve.

When I start the car starts the headlights open up even though the light switch is off. then when I turn the motor off the lights stay open.

Do you have any ideas as to what the problem may be?
