well, just got my newest set of mods completed this afternoon.
since the purchase of the car the mods were all cosmetic, now
i got a little more involved.the performance mods to date installed
are bbk fuel pressure regulator, bbk 52mm throttle body,160 stat,
176 fan switch, descreened the maf, bypassed and rerouted the
tb coolant line, relocated mat sensor installed a hypertech
thermomaster chip, cut air box lid, k&n filter, cat back w/muffler
eliminators.i was wondering what would be a good fuel pressure
setting i am currently at 43psi and hear the l98 likes more adv.
timming it is currently stock and the tank only gets ultra 94 so
what would be a good advancement setting. the car runs great
and pulls hard thru the mid range to 5,000 but i feel like there is
more left in there to squeeze out.

thanks for all your past help, i could have gotten this far without
it

chris

That's where the TPI system can't make more power at, around the 5000 rpm range due to the intake. Our intakes were originally designed for the 305 motor.

In order to get more after 5000 rpm's, you need to do the intake, heads and cam. Then there is the torque converter and rear gears... It's almost a never ending project! :L

thanks edmund,
i know the power ends at 5000 rpm, i was actually wondering if i could get more
performance with the fuel pressure it may be to high or it may be to low not
really sure and what gains i could get with timing advancement
