I'm a new Vette owner, not to be confused with an owner of a new vette, and I have a couple of questions. It's a 93 coupe.

1. The fan motor fluctuates in speed. I've seen this in automatic systems, but not in a manual system like mine.

2. The cruise doesn't work, Checked fuses and connections but can't find anything obvious. I needed this the other day after an 11 hour drive. Have another 11 hour trip tomorrow. Any suggestions.

3. Voltage while running - 12.6volts while idling with A/C on. Otherwise it's 13.8. Good ????? I question this since the battery went dead after leaving the hood open and the doors open for about 1.5 hours. I thought it would last longer than that.

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure I'll have more. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks

cruise control...

I fixed mine by checking the switches on the clutch pedal. These are the switches that "cancel" cruise when you press in the clutch or the brake. One of the switches on the clutch had worked its way out of the bracket. I pressed it back in, and secured it with a zip tie.

Hope this helps!

I also have a 93 Coupe and my voltage while running flucuates between 14.6 down to 14.1.
I had the same problem with my battery so I just replaced it last week and no more problems.

One quick tip: If you turn your parking lights on with the ignition off and hit your guages button until you see voltage it will show the battery output. (You can also just hook up a meter to the battery and check the output that way) Should read between 12.25 volts (50%) to 12.66 volts or above for fully charged.

hope that helps some...
