New patriotic paint job

My brother just finished up a new paint job on my C5. It turns a lot of heads and is quite a conversation starter nearly everywhere I go. The red stripes are the car's original paint, so it is the shadowing that makes it stand out.

It is a great job, nothing more fitting an American Icon then the Stars and Stripes :cool

I added these flags last year intending to remove them after a few months but they set the car off from all the other red Vettes out there

Your car looks great! The design is incredible and your graphic artist did a great job. My only question is how did he/she get the vinyl to wrap around your side moldings so well? This is really cool!

The graphic artist that did this is a real artist with lots of experience, lots of talent, lots of patience and a good hair dryer!! Seriously, he is very well known in New England for his abilities and creativity. We met him 2 years ago at Boston's World of Wheels exhibition, saw him again a year ago and thought of him right off the bat when we bought the '02. We opted for vinyl graphics rather than paint so it is only as permanent as we want it to be. He could have done it both ways.

I think we both made good choices in personalizing our cars, don't you??!!

I agree. And while I enjoy seeing many aftermarkets products on Corvettes, having some custom paint or graphics work adds even more "character" to the vehicle. Here's another shot...

Many people have said that they would like to see more of what is on the sides also on the hood instead of what I have now. I agree and will probably sand it off to go with a new design. I'll make sure that it is not "too much" though.
