I might possibly be buying new rims from Extreme Motorsports which will be 18" both from and rear. Will I screw up my abs or traction control by doing this? Also I'm having trouble deciding between Pilots sports(performance and high cost) to the pole positions(less dry performance but better wet and less cost) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave:confused

See your earlier post on the same subject.

All of what was said still applies. The wheel sensors detect wheel speed to determine if ABS or active handling need to be engaged. 18" rims front and back will not "look" right to the sensors and could cause all sorts of problems.

I've heard better reviews of the pilot sports. I just upgraded to a set of 18" HRE 547s (18 x 9.5 & 18 x 11). I haven't heard about any problems with either ABS or traction control.

In bought a set of 18" stock 2000 wheels for the front to match the rears.

No problems except a bit of an alignment adjustment.

What a difference in handling!
